Many nursing students also try to formulate their own evaluation of how my values align with the HCE. Many nursing students also end up as confused as their student mentors.Many students strive to uncover and develop their personal values as an alternative to valuing professionalism. Others try to feel more connected to their students because they might be struggling to achieve their personal values. In reality, we all know that valuing professionalism is a necessity in every medical field and hence everyone is always ready to find a good definition of professionalism. The point is that nursing students need to figure out which values they believe are best suited for t he nursing profession.Many students need to know about the basic values that nursing students need to develop as well as the minimum standards that they need to hold. Students have the freedom to choose the basic values they need to follow while practicing the profession. Students are also encouraged to decide upon the values that they think are of utmost importance.The basic values that students need to study are: integrity, responsibility, teamwork, innovation, perseverance, compassion, humility, caring, and respect. The specific expectations that they are expected to fulfill are to make informed decisions and to reflect well on work. Some of these values are listed below:There are many other basic values that students need to study like loyalty, self-care, self-motivation, flexibility, attitude, and the right mindset. Students are also encouraged to determine the future career options they can pursue in order to ensure a fulfilling career. Many students find it difficult to decid e on the direction they would like to go in their career. Some students also wonder how they can be compatible with the profession.When a student has decided on a career path, he or she needs to put his or her professional and personal identity into consideration. A student is required to find ways to identify his or her self and establish personal goals for the future. He or she needs to adopt a leadership role and identify a career path that he or she wants to follow.In order to create a personalized career guidance, students need to do several things. They need to identify their strengths and weaknesses so that they can focus on applying their strengths. They need to gain insight about what they truly value and develop a personal profile and set of values that they wish to live by.
